HOMEMADE AND EGG FREE WAFFLE RECIPE








Waffle is a very simple and easy recipe to make with handful of available ingredients.



My eggless waffles are super delicious, light and fluffy on the inside and crispy and golden on the outside. And the best part of this recipe is, these are eggless. I like to serve these waffles with some chocolate syrup, chocolate chunks, or a scoop of vanilla ice crème. It can be great addition to your breakfast or evening snack time.


You can always customize homemade waffle as per you liking. You can add your favourite toppings to it. More or less sweet, types of drizzles, melted chocolate, some delicious fruits… just the way you want to make & eat. You can keep waffle as simple as possible, with some honey & fresh fruits. For variations, I must say Sky is the limit.


Homemade ones could be thicker in size, if you are using silicon moulds.

If you have waffle maker, probably you will get thinner waffle.

I am sharing my way of making waffle with you guys today.

So please give a try to this recipe.

Ingredients to make waffle

Flour 1 cup

Powder sugar ½ cup

Corn flour or Corn starch 1 tbsp

Cocoa powder 1tbsp

Baking soda ½ tsp

Baking powder 1 tsp


Curd 3 tbsp

Milk ½ cup

Butter 2 tbsp

Vanilla extract 1tsp

Melted chocolate ( as per requirement )

Chocolate syrup ( as per requirement )

Toppings: Sprinkles

You can use anything as per availability and taste.

Method

In a big mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients, mix well using a whisk.


Sift the dry ingredients

Now add melted butter, curd, vanilla extract. Add milk little by little.

Whisk everything together until smooth and lump free.

The batter should be in pouring consistency.

Pour the batter in greased moulds, fill the cavities evenly.

Bake at 180-degree c for 10-15 minutes, if you want more crispy waffle, bake for another 4-5 minutes or until golden.

To get more crispy waffle, I just flipped them on the baking tray and baked for another 4 minutes.

Serve hot with melted chocolate or with your favorite toppings of choice and fruits.

Useful notes

Different oven behaves differently. Time and temperature can vary.

If you like crispy and toasty top, bake for another 5 minutes or until golden.

Customize waffle as per your choice and taste.

For thinner waffle fill the cavities half with batter.

For sugar free version, you can skip adding sugar.
