Italian Flower Bread


Fun and enjoyment can come in any form. And i found my most enjoyable moment with Baking breads. I enjoy this moment by baking for my loved ones,friends & family members.Home made baking is most satisfying job,if you follow the right and good recipe,you will get sucess. It's so much fun to mix all the ingredients and to see the colour changing bread.

It gives you chance to do something creative. The kitchen and house fills with the aroma of delicious bread. Today i tried a flower bread. Sharing my recipe and work ......


Layered flower shaped Bread


Ingredients:

1 & half cup wheat flour + 1 & half cup all purpose flour

1 table spoon salt

2 tsp sugar

2 table spoon chili flakes

2 table spoon italian seasoning

1 tsp sesame seeds

2 tsp active dry yeast


1 egg (egg is optional)

1 cup water

1/4th cup olive oil

3 table spoon honey

4-5 table spoon milk (Increase the quantity if required)


Toppings:

Onions+ tomatoes+ spinach+ olives+ cheese cubes+ cheese slices

pizza sauce + tomato sauce

butter+ crushed garlic+ chopped coriander


Butter garlic mix: In a pan melt & heat the butter in low flame, add chopped or crushed garlic, freshly chopped coriander. Saute for a minute.

Baked Flower Bread

Procedure: Proof the yeast with sugar in warm water. Add all the dry ingredients, along with proofed yeast water. Mix gently. Add all the wet ingredients. Make the dough. Dough will be sticky & messy, here we really need to work hard with the stubborn dough. punch & knead the dough on kitchen counter, until you get smooth n soft ball. Transfer it into greased bowl & cover it. Let the dough rise. Now divide the dough in to two parts. Press the first dough with finger tips and stretch it nicely to fit the greased pan. Apply butter –garlic-coriander leaves mixture. Apply pizza n tomato sauce, all toppings, with cheese cubes & slice. Take second half of the dough, repeat the procedure to stretch the dough, so that it can fit to the pan. Brush the bread with butter garlic mixture. All toppings on it. Let it rise for 20 minutes in the pan only. Bake the bread in preheated oven at 2000c for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
